Don't you know if you say, please don't go I will stay Tell my friends I can't play anymore. Because with you I'm complete, you're the ground at my feet. Steady beat like the four on the floor. But my heart stops at the sight of you, and it skips a beat when we're in the same room. And we won't stop now. Change of scene would be nice, pack your bags don't think twice, grab your keys, roll the dice. Now there's a cat on your head, there's a dog in our bed There's a squirrel living in our oak tree.

Melanie 04:59
Come to the bars down on Adam's street, I can get you past the doors cause it's always free. I took you to the back of the record store, asked if you've seen The Sights before. She said no but it's fine by me, she can do no wrong she's my Melanie. My Melanie baby takes over my body, when I think about her it makes me wanna freakout! I hadn't seen you since I was 13, but I got you to admit that you still love me. And when you're done with the boys can you come check me? Because there's more to the story with my Melanie I can't see you til I'm older (it makes me wanna freakout!) I can't see you til I've grown older than I was with you that day, but anyway... I'll call you on the phone when I turn 18, we can smoke cigarettes, we can make a scene. And if you get too drunk we can act obscene. Your sisters name is Jenny, but you're Melanie. Will she still love me when I'm 18? We were jumping with your friends on the trampoline, And then you pulled me aside because you wanted to see if you could be someone who could love me.

Hold me in your arms, I don't wanna fight it anymore. Hold me in your arms, I don't wanna go and leave you all alone. Pressure's got me down on my knees. Hold me in your arms, I don't wanna fight this feeling anymore. So take me to your house, and show me to the basement, so we can (RA!) Loving you as long as I please All our friends are living with liberal arts degrees with ease. And we'll always be the same kids from my sophomore year at college, isn't that what you wanted all along? And we're always playing love games, and our memories still remain, like that night your car was covered in glitter snow. And we'll always be the same kids from my final year at college, isn't that what you wanted when you bought it? Do you remember when you told me that you don't need words to hold me? Then we caught the tiger by the toe. ...and the big bad world won't ever bring us down.

Sena 03:53
Sena I'm a man doing all that I can (I take it in like a sponge baby, soak it up). But giving credit where credit is due is something that was taught by you (honesty's my policy baby, it's our philosophy). Along with grass root tactics and saxophone fantastic. Prince wasn't crazy cuz labels are the enemy. So teach me all you can Sena, I'm a learning man. Sena I'm a man, but I feel like a boy, it's why I was coy when I first worked with you. So teach me all you can Sena, I'm a learning man. Gonna make you proud, gonna get the word out about me (make you proud, gonna spread it like wildfire). In the indie scene magazine, newspaper articles, free(press baby is good press, is any press). Working like a dog learning tricks faster everyday. So Sena, I'm a working man. So teach me all you can Sena, I'm a working man. And I'm singing it...

1992 02:49
I wish it was 1992, I wish I could have been there with you. I would've made the girls scream wearing my Bugle Boy jeans. And I wish it was 1993, cuz me and Jesse could Free Willy. Kickin' it with Dana and Fox, listening to Heart-Shaped Box. I see my past through nostalgia. I listen to my cassette tapes in the parking lot of a high school I never went to. I think I just discovered; I wish I was my older brother! And I wish it was 1995, I'm really glad that Travis got with Ty With Jay and Silent Bob at the mall, but they weren't chasing waterfalls. And I wish it was 1996, in Oakland speaking ebonics. Murder on the Compton streets, listening to Tupac preach. Saw Foo Fighters it was too cool. Wish it was Nirvana in 92. I wish it was 1998, cuz yeah I swear that Daria was great. I had a crush on a brain, and I wouldn't trade her for Jane Lane. And I wish it was 1999, cuz Bruce Willis was dead the whole time. Living in a house full of ghosts, the 90's are what I love the most.

Two By Two 05:35
Way back when in a biblical time, far from the city sleaze, the hustle, the grind. A wise man lived, Noah was his name, he built the ark and as we know he played the animal game. And when the rains came down all the people drown, but it was Noah and the animals who were nowhere to be found. They drift around, go from town to town, and they would party all night just to prove no one could bring them down. Two by two, come on take my hand, we're gonna groove on down to the promised land. The camels humped onto Noah's ark, then followed two by two the singing lark. And well the pachyderm herd acted so absurd, the congregated with the mice and the birds, And when the monkeys heard, they swore by Thor that this did mean war, but they were silenced by the thunderous sound of the lions roar. And I don't Mind Fish but that peacock strut has got such colorful swag, it made me ask "What's up?" When they go... Long white beard and a staff in hand, we want to thank you brother Noah you're a radical man. Zacchaeus was a wee little man but he rocked the party right. Goliath takes the heat but it was David who started the fight. Sampson's haircut was misunderstood, he wanted to look good for the party in his neighborhood. The animals all got down at the part in the neighborhood!

On the first night that we met I knew I'd never have you, You're the woman that I'd never get, and I place no one above you. But then there was a Shyamalan twist, when you told me to hold you, so I grabbed you by the wrist, you told me "Let go!" You told me "Run as fast as you can, run back to your mother. Run as fast as you can, I won't be your lover (anymore)". On the second night that we met you said it was a maybe, Until I kissed you in your bed, you told me call you baby. But late that night I had a frightening dream, when I woke up and screamed it wasn't what it had seemed, You weren't in my bed, you weren't in my sheets, and it was plain to see that you had run out on me. You gotta run for cover! But late one night I had a frightening dream, when I woke up and screamed it wasn't what it had seemed. You were in my bed you said, "I'm scared, I'm weak, and could you ever please, could you ever forgive me?" Lily you're a fool you know you're not wrong, you have not been capture. Lily your'e a fool you know that you're strong, you could face the rapture and survive. First night we met, knew I can't have you. Never forget, the way that I held you. Shyamalan twist, you told me to hold you. But when I grabbed your wrist I let go... Run fo' cover!

I've got kids they're writing my act, knocking my ass to the back of the pack, 13 year olds deliberately looking for a chance to audition, Just to see if, they've got something that they can sell, But I don't wanna buy it, Spotify it on my cell. Trust fund babies, hundreds of G's, winner gets a ticket to the talent agencies. I've got mothers writing my checks, I've got some who are trying to put a hex, on me for the things that I've done But I don't have regrets I have fun. And I've still got girls checking me out thinking they can get with me without a doubt. So if you're wise you'll listen to me (and the Oompa Loompa Loompaty dee). We gettin' paid to do what we love and that's fine, don't you worry 'bout spending a dime.

Ann Marie 05:14
In science class, in history, that's when I met Ann Marie We never read those silly books, but we had chemistry, we had chemistry And flirty looks, that's all it took, the whole high school knew we were hooked But thing unbeknownst to me, was that it was obvious to see Ann Marie, Ann Marie, if you can't love me let me be Let me save my broken heart for someone else, we broke apart On the playground, had a meltdown, playing tag I skinned my knee Then my heart, my heart it did pound, when you came walking up to me And you kissed me, you kissed me, on the cheek to comfort me Why can't she love me?

Don't Go Now 05:56
When the sun rises in the morning on my head, it becomes the light that shines and shows that I'm not dead. Rising high, reckless like a kite without its string, wrap me up, hold me in it's arms so we can sing. Don't go now, there must be something else I can say/do. And when the moon sets at night it tucks me into bed. And these dreams grow me eerie with the doubts inside my head. It's like a cave and I know we've reached the light that's at the end. And it's almost non-existent, and I don't know how we missed it but we are saved. Because if you go right now we'll never get to truly know who you would've become my son.
